Retired from newspaper life, but still a  part of me

You've landed on the site of David Phillips of Spring Valley, Minnesota. I spent more than 40 years in the newspaper/publishing/printing induwstry as a reporter, editor, publisher, graphic designer and photographer, so it is appropriate that the home page of my site look like a newspaper, even if there is no breaking news listed. Since my retirement in 2020, I've kept a connection to my former professioin through various means in a limited basis and part of this site highlights those connections.

The site also has an eclectic mix of useful, and much non-useful, information for you to check out. This site is ever evolving, depending on how my retirement days go. The focus will be on southeastern Minnesota, but may include a wide range of topics. Updates are forthcoming.
